Happy New Year! New drum room, and a booking system change.
Hello everyone šš» Hope you are all doing well, had a lovely xmas break and arenāt too battered around by the whole January thing. Having a bit of time off was much needed, but it was amazing how much I missed my job! As always, thank you to everyone for trusting me with your music š¶ I have such gratitude for being able to do what I do, and it is only possible because of you guys š
New Drum Room! š„šāØ
Iām really excited to announce that I can now record live drums. For the last few months Iāve been working with local session drummer Dave Hazlewood on creating a drum studio to make recording studio quality live drums quick, easy and affordable.
The idea was to remove all the barriers that usually make recording live drums challenging and expensive, so this is a permanent setup where we can simply walk in, and start recording with no setup time.

Dave is available as a session drummer for a very reasonable extra fee

Booking System Change š

Iāve recently made a small adjustment to the way that I book dates. In the new system everyone will get the same list of available dates and I only remove dates from that list when a deposit is paid.
This means that:
I can offer everyone more choices of dates
It's clearer to everyone when one is booked and confirmed
It does mean that if you want a particular date, itās important to pay the deposit to secure it as otherwise it will still be offered out as available.
Latest Release Highlights š§
Iām honoured to have worked with Havva on this spoken work piece. A short poem about the feeling of Christmas changing as we get older. We recorded the vocals and I improvised over it, doing a few passes until we felt like it hit the vibe. The result is a really beautiful, sad, thoughtful piece.
This is a tune. Ocarina is one of those artists I just feel lucky to know, it was hard to chose a single track from the EP, but this just the vibe this month āļø Lots of delightful vocoder layers, watery beats and that warm unfathomable obsidian feeling of being a conscious beingā¦ you know.
Absolute wall of noiseā¦. but with floaty high soft vocals?! Thatās pretty much the vibe of Remaynās latest EP. And thatās not an embed glitchā¦ the artwork really is just black. Intense and dark, itās probably his heaviest stuff yet. Very winter yo.
